Typo, 1920x1080 I have fat finger syndrome; as that is my monitors preferred resolution. 23" samsung

I have the same experience,except that over cities I rarely have below 30fps.
22 is the lowest but only for 1-2 sec.
I can dogfight over cities between 40-65 fps.
All settings very high SSAO off.

It only dipped in FPS when jerking the mouse on free look from one extreme to the other. Other than that its pretty solid.

although he should be up around 4 Gig with that CPU at a minimum.

The CPU actually will throttle up or down automatically to be as efficient as possible, I think it will go up to 3.8ghz on its own when needed, but I've never broken 50% cpu load with any game maxed, while surfing and media player going.

You cannot honestly expect everyone to get a rig like this.

This took a large portion of savings to do, considering my last rig was way out of date, and many of the games ahead I look forward to it just couldn't run. I bought this with the mind of not having to upgrade any time soon.

I wouldve gotten the 2500k instead of the 2600k, more bang for buck since Hyperthreading isn´t supported by any game in the market these days

2500k wasn't on the market when purchased, but even now I still would have gone with the 2600k.
