Likewise. Here is the message from the Log.txt file

Well since this is working for some people and not the others, perhaps the problem is the OS?

We might have done something wrong using a .zip archive this time, when we used .rar before. Some people were having trouble opening .rar, perhaps the same is going on when unzipping out of a zip? Are you guys just using Windows Explorer? Select the two folders inside the zip and copy-paste? Make sure to replace all files?

Sorry about the troubles.

Yeah running Win 7 64 bit here. First thing I tried was copy the parts and paintschemes and paste them/overwrite all into the IL-2 ClOD Directory. Then launch. Nothing happens (yellow crosshair). Now I verified game integrity with steam, it re-downloaded the last patch version and I repeated the first steps. Copy paste, but now I only copied the parts subfolders core and bob and I've overwritten those. Still no start though.. Checked megaupload and re-downloaded the ~53 mb file and still no joy..

EDIT:::

GUYS TRY THIS:

Extract the .zip archive with winrar, then copy paste. worked for me!!!

When I use a smaller resolution than native I get a smaller window during missions, the GUI is fullscreen though.

Bug report: When the game changes resolution and goes from menu to actual gameplay, the window is very small and located in the bottom left corner of my screen, also many planes and pieces appear transparent.
