I too am concerned here.
I do most of the mission building for the Pigs and Pubbers, though I can see Hamish stepping in here as well for us. How can you possibly make combat missions that involve an island nation that does not involve warships, on either side?

In 1940 the Royal Navy was still the biggest navy in the world! We do need naval ships adding in the future to make this sim complete. We also need the German Navy for missions like the channel dash ect.

It's one of my big disappointments with the sim. Now, I don't need the whole Royal Navy or the Kriegsmarine simulated in intricate detail, but at least a destroyer and a patrol boat for each side was too much?
But hey, we got Italian aircraft in the game, and everybody knows you can't have a proper BoB sim without the Italian airforce... I can't help but wonder based on what exactly they do game design decisions at Maddox games. |

How do you simulate this whole campaign without the convoys to GB ?? And as said, a single destroyer, a patrol boat, a tanker and a merchant ship for each side would do. For a look check BoB:WoV from A2A. Not as technically detailed as CoD but an awesome campaign and lots of recently rebuilt frame rate friendly 3D ship models for the early phase ... |
