Skins on static aircraft is the first that comes to mind. It's always been disappointing having green Ju52's parked on your desert base.
Second one I can think of is the ability to raise height on flak guns and a few other objects to enable proper gun emplacements, built-up radar etc. AI triggers, but that one, I suspect would require a whole new engine
