Here some tweaks to improve framerate.

- Edit the Launcher.exe.config file and add kegetys.dll there similar to steam_api.dll

Man that mod is really doing miracles on my rig!!!!
first i thought it would be hard to install it for me,as im not a native speaker.but i read the readme twice and slowly,followed the instructions step by step.
after that,i launched the game.curious,how i am, i opened quick mission over london.before the mod i had, i think average 5fps and massive stutters, so that it was unplayable.
NOW after the mod, i have average 30fps!!!!and the stutters are way less!its totally playable over london for me!it even feels smooth.
that was five minutes ago.now i have to start it again to try it over land and sea.
thx to the creator of that!you really made my day!

yeah worked very well on my rig too without too big of a beauty-reduction Running London with shadows on all settings med/high with fluid gameplay 9x 111's and 6x spits

Brilliant, the no ssao takes the fps up to 15 from 6 over london, but horrible stutters.
No mipmaps take it all the way to 45! NO STUTTERS!!!!!

back again after some more testing.i have to say it again.its a miracle-mod!!
before the mod i had my resolution set to the lowest settings,because otherwise my fps dropped dramatically.now i set it to the highest.
before the mod,i had trees set down to the second lowest.now i set it to maximum.
before the mod, i had landscape detail and landshading on middle setting, now on high.

with the improve of settings, i still get the same or even better fps and less stutters than before that mod.
and in my opinion the textures didnt change at all.at least its my impression.but maybe i dont recognize any difference because im too exited right now.

Great improvement for me, can fly the tiger moth over england nearly without stutters. Texture mod and nominimaps gave the most noticable improvement. Thanks Kegetys!

Is it only me or isnt this very emberassing for 1 C? I mean come on!!! They are releasing a patch wich is not really fixing the performance issues this game has and then comes a skilled Programmer from Finland which does a much better job on his own?

STEUBORN. this is no embarresement to 1C. unless they play fool and not use this to its favour. to be honest, this gmae needs a lot of help. and if some guy from finland contribuited htis much it should be used.

its a good mod. i still have stutters, but FPS is good now: good as in GOOD. shame for the FOV changer. it works , but its not comaptible with multiple views in game( eg, close medium, far away) and its not compatible with clickable cockpits.
