In the hopes that the dev team read this, a repost from the patch announce thread:
Game refuses to run post patch, launcher starts up and crashes, have tried deleting config files, but still no joy. Intel i7 990X six core @ 3.46GHz, 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1866MHz DDR3, ATI Radeon HD 6990 4096MB, Intel X25-M Mainstream SSD, and Asus X58 Sabertooth TUF motherboard, all stock speeds running under Win7 64.
