I cant find where the game is stored in Win 7.

I can find the cof inis etc in the documents section, but with three controllers to map it gives 9 possible ways of screwing up and causing more trouble, I'd rather get to the bottom of why the game is not seeing the controllers.

Snake, the game responds (sometimes, intemittently) to button commands, but nothing at all to the axes.

It may take some time tomuck about and refine these but at least I can now partially control the plane

Thanks everyone and I will keep updating my progress

Well it doesn't fully work, I have my throttle and Joystick axes, but nothing else......and I still cant map/change/add the axes in the controls section. So still a bit of a bleeding mystery lol.

Ah well at least I can make the things go up and down and control engines, just got 50% damage on 3 Spits in a 110 in my first controlled mission
