Indeed that is how I read it as well. He was kinda trying to say "I thought this was a silly idea, but in the end I wan to thank you guys for insisting because it adds a lot more than I expected."

Obviously that is my interpretation of what he said, so I could be wrong.

How do you guys use the clickable cockpit in flight anyway? do you move your mouse over to the other side of your keyboard and use it with your off hand? I can't really see any other way without taking your hand off the stick. I guess if I could rig some way to have my stick in the center I could swap hands on the stick, though I can't imagine flying with my left hand for more than a few seconds.

I don't use the mouse while in combat. The clicky stuff is just for start up and maintaining the aircraft at cruise/climb when I'm trimmed out and fly hands off.

Personally I love the clickable Cockpits.

The clickable Cockpits are a great Enhancement of IL2 Series and i really
hope that Luthier will increase the clickable Elements in all Cockpits. I
really love the new Engine Management and what happend if you do some
things wrong (for example Oil Cooler)
