Virtually none, all settings on medium, FPS from 5 -12 over land, flying over sea is better about 16-20 FPS but it stutters very badly. Cockpit is very nice but everything else looks very dated.

I also tried making a SLI profile using nvidia driver and also nHancer but this completely killed the game.

errrr... one plane, a lot of ocean, clear weather and a max of 45fps looking straight up (from under the single plane) into the sky. (even from in cockpit looking straight up doesn't do much better)

Oleg stated 2-3 years ago that CloD will run on a top end machine from that time frame which his hardware is...so it should run smoothly with medium to low settings at lower resolutions. Problem is with game/graphics engine not being efficiently coded. They need some serious high level programmer to fix this which im not sure if they have..maybe maybe not...with as long as this has been in development it should have been optimized LONG ago

AMD Phenom II X4 955 4x 3.2GHz
8GB of DDR2 rated 800 (they're 1066 but my board doesn't like that speed with all four slots used)
Radeon HD3870 512MB

And it's absolutely unplayable. OK, my graphics card is below the specs, but a slower GeForce 8800 is not (it's comparable to a X1800XTX or X1900).
I get 10-40fps on lowest settings @ 1280x960, but still the controls feel like it's just 1-5fps. When I push the trigger, nothing happens for about 3 seconds while the sim is still being rendered at 20-30fps, then it starts fireing. Well, I run DCS Black Shark with even less FPS (around 20avg, gets lower sometimes) without problems. Running 1024x768 is impossible due to heavy visual artifacts.

Most probably I need to spend some cash on a new graphics card... something in the range of 5850/5870/6950.

But I just wonder about the excessive input lags.

Hi There,

my Computer is an i7-950, with 6GB of RAM, and an 460 GTX graphic card! Win 7 pro 64bit!
The game runs very bad, even with settings to medium and resoluton reduced to 1680x1050, it looks like a slideshow!!
You can no longer view around with the mouse (at least I didn't find the option)! The mousewheel can somehow not be used for trimming the elevator! In full reality mode the plane engine more or less desintegrates himself EVEN if you pay attention to the instruments! You can roll/fly right through the trees!???

I'm a real pilot, ok, no WW2 planes but lots of SEP, but the planes handle like crap!

I'm really disappointed! After all the time!

Man it's almost too much lag to even make a test mission in the mission builder , it's just unreal how slow it is.

what gets me is that even though they said that multi core cpu support is being worked on or expanded, I'm not even getting 100% util out of the 1st core, it's more like 25%.

same as a lot of others are seeing.

U have C2D E4400 2,3 GHZ 2GB RAM and Gforce 9800gtx+ above water the game runs 25-50 fps in non-cockpit view but still feels like fps was much lower plus i get apprx. 1 sec. of input lag what is especially noticeable when i want to shoot someone. Over land performance sinks to complete slideshow. So min specs posted on steam store page are not reallistic. Guess illl just go back to 1946 and play COD when i will get money to completely rebuild my computer.

Should have preordere Portal 2 instead.
