I had the same too mate, i posted a new thread here but the mods deleted it, the only way round it is to disable your anti virus im afraid.

Tree, if you're using the latest AVG you don't need to disable it.

Go to the Resident shield, then find advanced settings, in that look for the esceptions list and add the file: bingo, it is added and you don't need to shut down AVG to play CoD.

You can add the rendobj.dll file as an exception.

1) open AVG
2) Click on Tools along the top.
3) Select Advanced Settings
4) Select PUP Exceptions
5) Add rendobj.dll (found in the game folder)
6) click apply then ok
7) Launch CoD


I run AVG, I did the above, no problem....my graphics card is another story though...

HI Guys
it happened to me you don't have to fully disable avg just go to the avg gui and right click on resident shield and turn that off thats what i did and no problems
