Couldn't bare myself to grab the Russian version just because its cheap, would make me feel like a douche instead of supporting them.

Unfortunetly he didnt seem to address any specific fixes / issues (other then fps which can be caused by many factors). I wish they would bother to post here in english, there needs to be dialogue.

Yes, I really hope that they postpone the western release until they have fixed the major problems. The Russians are already public beta testers so let it stay that way for a couple of months. Releasing it now to the west will just put them in an even worse situation. And yes, in no way they are going to be able to fix all the problems that people talk about in a week or two?

Let's see what happens in a few days when it is released in Europe and Australia. I would prefer some dev communication on this forum but to be fair it hasn't been released for us yet.

It will be interesting to see how the dev team make the transition in public engagement from the highly secretive pre-release phase (i.e. to date) to a proper dialogue. This, as much as anything, will contribute to make or break for CoD as purchasers will undoubtedly want some information on the game they just bought.

Don't Oleg & Co probably gets the same amount from a sale of a Russian copy than a US copy sold to us at 4x the Russian retail price.
