It is being released in Europe on the 31st.Maybe Ebay is importing it.

Be careful. The game is region locked and will not activate outside of its region.
Regarding the region, the e-bay listing comes from here... http://allbazaar.com/Popular-Auction...643891108.aspx

The fcitech is a company in New York , they claim to have the DVD in stock and ready to ship, would think / hope they would be selling only the NTSC-US/CA versions if I understand correctly. Anyhew, I have read some post of people saying they could not find the DVD in the States only the download version, so wanted to point out that it looks like the DVD version is starting to trickle into the States. gogamer, amazon and the like should have it in stock very soon is my guess.

Even if that's true and you had the game right now in your possession you won't be able to play it till Steam releases it.
Whatever date the Steam store shows for your area is when the game will be "activated".
Unfortunately, that's what I thought I would hear, but was hoping it didn't apply to DVD version. Is going to be painful to unwrap the DVD only to just look at it.

Ubisoft doesn't want it releasing alongside Crysis 2, and (more for their benefit) Assassins' Crud Botherhud.
If that's true, that sucks.
