Steam has quite a bad font making little difference between 0 and D.

Copy your cd-key to clipboard, than paste into Word, or similar, than copy each section step by step into the game. ctrl+c and ctrl+v

no o or 0 in my cd key

yup it was a 0 not a D....fail steam
