Seriously, does Ubisoft ever make a good decision? This is pathetic.

Yeah and they reported an operating profit loss of $55.5mil for March 2010!

If they spent less money on crappy protection systems that, lets be honest, don't work, then they may actually turn over a profit, keep paying customer's happy and maybe be able to put more $$$ into better development of their in house titles and GIVE US AUSSIES THE FRIGGEN COLLECTOR EDITION!

But I know there's some department manager or CEO at UBI looking for ways to try and justify their job by concocting a smoke screen on paper that they can present to their stakeholder which says "hey we lost money but we're on track to make a profit "in the near furture" as we winning the in pirated software war."

Some people just can't admit they're wrong.

Well! Damn!

Given the choice I would have prefered to put my money through a local company, But I would rather have the boxed copy. It seems a bit short sighted by Ubi Australia.

Cheers and thanks for the heads up.

It is interesting to know that UBI's stupid DRM stance and console style marketing strategy has resulted in them loosing money - just as many people predicted.
