They don't seem to notice the hurricane yet and haven't split up their formation. Good
to see we will be able to make surprise attacks now and don't have to fight AI gods anymore!
Exactly, glad you guys noticed!

I've flown a few missions where I attacked an enemy formation from their six and shot down several planes in a row, with no one breaking off. Almost felt wrong, like this is a bug and I should run to the AI programmer and tell him, what the hell is wrong with you!

And then I would realize that this is perfect, that this is exactly how it was.

One of the very few cases when a developer is justifiably proud of his Artificial Intelligence being dumb!

PS. This all of course depends on AI skill level.

I hope it's a bit more complex than that Ilya - for instance, if AI = uber but Nov is wearing his lucky pants, I expect to pull off just about anything. Hope this is modelled.

This is actually an absolutely awesome idea.

We should make this an easter egg in our Pilot Options, where you can dress up your little guy in all sorts of clothing. The game will randomly decide that "item x" is your lucky item. It will not tell you that. Whenever you fly without it, bad things will happen to your plane.

@ Luthier,

your famous post also made my day, thx.

Can you tell what the max. needed amount of VRAM is when playing this game on 1920x1080? Is 1,5 GB far enough or already a bottleneck?

S!

Most of the kills were surprises. Just reading a book of a Finnish ace Eino Luukkanen. He dove in his Bf109G-2 and shot down 2 of 5 La-5's in a formation before they reacted to anything. La-5´s from 4th GIAP KBF led by Golybev based in Lavansaari.

I just hope the AI is not a super idiot either when on rookie level, that they just sit there and get shot like clay pigeons. A pilot seeing wingman being attacked sure makes SOME maneuvers not just sits and watches waiting for his turn

Anyways, sounds good that finally we have a more believeable AI

Why do people have to nitpick/point out every little thing?

The cliffs aren't aliased will they be in the game?! Obviously they will be..
Hey I noticed one of the gauges appears static! Since everything else works in the cockpit I doubt they would ignor ONE of them..people need to seriously turn off the PC for a while and do something else till this game is out, and quit buggin Oleg with ridiculous comments & statements about tracers, trees & other useless things

Thanks for the update.

The Blenheim pic is amazing. There must be a thousand trees in that shot, and you can see them right up to the horizon!

Looking good.

Forget dressing the guy, will there be outfits for the girl?

Not sure why we're focusing on the colour of England...

I've read quite a few accounts of situations just like that. I'm really looking forward to seeing how it all works out!
