Storm of War-Battle of Britain was probably considered to be too violent a title...I think a broad mix sales target was considered more likely, having a neutral sounding title.

I'd have called it Finest Hour myself.
What about "The Few"?

Uhhh...well....Isn't Combat aviation, aerial warfare supposed to be a bit violent? Have you seen any of the X-rated Carnage spewed out in FPS 'games'???

As to a proper title for SOW:BOB, how about:

"Tea and Crumpets at Four O'Clock"
A proper social engagement gone awry....Pity, ehh what?

Maybe ...

Battle of Dover, Cliffs of Britain?

Or perhaps an anagram to keep everyone happy ...

Bob Toff Loiters, Ideal Traffic Van?

Yeah, I think that's the one
