Are those pictures of the ZFR 3 A from a wartime manual?? If so, I think they constitute evidence that the telescopic gunsight was installed on the Hs129B-3. Perhaps DT would consider adding it as an option for the Hs129B-3 in a future patch??

Nice document on the engine btw. Funny thing I have less problems reading technical german than normal german. If someone wants it translated, I could work together with a native speaker (in english).

The modeling of the ZFR was already begun, so if there eventually come up new references (I doubt it), I think, it would be a nice small addition.

Probably what happened is that the very, very first aircraft had the ZFR fitted, and the later ones used the standard B-2 sight. With only 25 planes produced and a service life of ~6 months, though, the true reality will probably never be known. |
