On behalf of 1C:Maddox Games and Daidalos Team, we are pleased to present you the patch 4.10m.

Few words before you hit that download button...The development of 4.10 patch took longer than we have anticipated in the beginning as we continued adding more content than originally planned. In order to give you the most stable version of the patch without any further delay we have decided to make the unpopular decision and did not include all the content that was previously announced in our development updates. The patch content became simply too big and complicated to test all together at once. But that does not mean we have abandoned the features we have informed you about before. To be specific, the following features are NOT included in 4.10 patch, but will come in our next releases:

1) AI seeing through clouds and other more complex AI improvements - priority candidate for 4.11
2) Triggers - priority candidate for 4.11
3) More complex MDS features - as a first step we wanted introduce the core feature of MDS in 4.10 = moving AI units and carriers on dogfight server
4) Ship damage effects - some ship DM improvements have been included in 4.10. More to come in the future.
5) Radar - was not planned for 4.10 yet. We do need to complete the full scenario before we release it.

We are also going to switch to smaller but more frequent patch releases from now on. 4.10 will be the foundation for our future work. As with the previous patch we would like to ask IL-2 community members to report any relevant issues or errors that did slip through our beta testing net. We have just opened the 4.10 bug report thread for this. Of course you can also use our DT email for the bug reports: daidalos.team@gmail.com We are committed to continue improving our work in the future patches.
If you persist you will turn this old sim into a complete air combat simulator.

Improvements in the FMB, triggers and AI performance will make a quantum leap.

It has been proven that AI performance can definitely be modeled very close to probabilities of actual human behavior.

The BOB II WOV has a most excellent AI performance package, which would be well worth studying when programming for AI.

I know I'm going to really enjoy the great additions in the 4.10 --- for sure,

Looking forward to the future and all the other great improvements.

Thanks for a great Christmas present.

I can't just understand how a game that is basicly atleast 7 years old can still feel this AWESOME. This kind of old-school radio navigation stuff hasn't probably ever been modelled before. And tell me a game where you can fly planes like IAR.81, P.11c or CW-21B. This game has taught me a lot of WW2 aviation, and (together with BoB) will continue to do so in the future.

The timing was also perfect. TD, I just cannot thank you enough!!!!11!!111!!!one!!!!eleven11!

A question, do I need to install the 4.10 dedicated server patch too as part of a normal install or is this seperate only for servers?

It is only for servers. If you just want to play, you need the IL-2_410.exe only.

Hi, guys
Thank you for the job, but I and my friends have found some bugs...
1) 2хMK108 guns on Bf-109G-6 don't fire!
2) Choosing 4 bombs loadout (for exapmle 4x500SC for He-111H-6) lets to take two bombs only.
3) I'm not quite sure it's a bug - а bomb, dropped below 100 m doesn't explode. People ask themselves - how to make strafe attaks and top-mast bombing now?

Anyway, thanks for patch and Marry Christmas)
Sorry for my English)
