Interesting stuff, while we're on this subject I would like to make a contribution. Sky Crawlers, from the guy behind the well known anime movie Ghost in the Shell wich I'm sure you've heard of/seen. It's all fictional but good nontheless.

I read somewhere "Paths of Hate" had premiered at a film show in Warsaw about 2 weeks ago. Is a short film though, not a full length feature. |

Yes, Paths of Hate is 10 minutes long.
Ah yes, I had forgotten Sky Crawlers. I'll try to find some onther animes / CG films that feature 1930's-1950's planes. First thought : Zipang, but it's more a king of "Nimitz film" on the japanese point of view. Wiki : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zipang_%28manga%29 Video : |

Interesting. I have a comic book made by Hugault. It tells about a FW 190 pilot too. He has the same problem: He's fighting on the wrong side. (But no atomic bomb)

Well comic books there is a lot.
Here in France there is something like a new one every month about planes (covering all eras) but in terms of quality it isn't as nicely done as japanese anime (mostly the story). Tons here : http://francejohn.pagesperso-orange.fr/cwe_rivaux.htm Last edited by sweln; 12-14-2010 at 03:54 PM. |
