How about airfoils? I'm a bit curious about those "humps" so if you could provide a source, I'd be grateful.

And I got an answer about the "humps" on real Mustangs. They are there to clear the bell cranks for the aileron controls. So there ya go.

Hey thanks! I could get an idea of the principle in there and I see what you mean. I'd love to see the actual movement though. Can't really visualize the movement/attach points from that blueprint. The rod is attached to the lower half of the flap and pushes/retracts, while the upper part is hinged/pivots via a stabilizer?
