Thank you Dutch. It is indeed the very same speech. I just couldn't find it on the BBC archive site. I must go back and look again.
I quite often visit the Imperal War Museum Collections site, (there are some fascinating photos there), but hadn't visited the Shop site. I've just ordered the CD. Many thanks for the pointer. I started looking for period broadcasts etc following Oleg's comment on page 40 of the 2020-10-08 thread. I should have remembered your response on the next page and asked where you found the speeches! Regards Pete

For those who cannot access the BBC Archive web site.
Although the BBC Archives site may not be accessible non UK residents I would expect that the Imperial War Museum would be.
Imperial War Meuseum home page is at: http://www.iwm.org.uk/ access to other interesting areas including the Shop from there.
