Many thanks for that, I would have checked S3TC comp without saving the original config file not realizing that it would have been overwritten. Saved me a lot of hassle by pointing out I need to save the original first.......cheers!

Hey all, a coworker in Abuja swore I was overcomplicating things and told me to try Plinko on medium risk. I skimmed a couple of strategy notes about ball paths, volatility, and session limits. Midway through my read I landed on chicken road and started tiny—few quick drops, then a clean 5x landed exactly when I needed a mood shift. What I liked most was the round cadence: fast enough to stay engaged, slow enough to think. For short evening sessions in Nigeria, Plinko’s rhythm just works.

That's a tricky situation with the MONO.SIM error! Before diving into ATI Catalyst or tweaking the config.ini, maybe try enabling texture compression directly in the IL2 setup menu. It's the simplest and might just do the trick. While you are at it, if you're looking for something less graphically demanding while troubleshooting, some fun can be had with io games; they can be a nice distraction without stressing your GPU.
