It depends how much enjoyment that game would give you. For me, SOW is the

game I want on my PC. I will be spending a few hundred dollars (equivellant) just on a graphics card for it. The time and effort it takes to get it working on my system will be worth it for me.

But if you need to install a new OS, just to play this game, when there are plenty of other games you'll be playing anyway, then perhaps it's not worth it for you. If however, you are just cutting your nose off to spite your face, that's not so clever.
