Its too bad that roof doesnt go right around the strip, you could have a decent Nascar race round that.

Has anyone manged to land on the top of the white cliffs of Dover? I have tried it umpteen times but cant find a spot to get down. I want to park right on the edge and get a photo, then try and get my Spit hanging over Some Moethers Do Ave Em style for my ultimate photo

Its funny if you land on the dock at dover and then edge right up to the drop into the sea. When you would expect the wheels to go over the edge and the plane to slam down onto the fusealage, it doesn't happen. The wheels drive off hovering in thin air for a good 5 meters until the whole plane suddenly tips into the drink lol

guess that is tonight or tomorrows quest....lol. i did "almost" to the right of the dock area ( as you are facing the sea ) but was going too fast and blew over the edge. tried to kick it in the @$$ and get airborne...no dice.

wonder how berlin city is to land....might have to visit the reichstag!

did it last night in a Po-2. not the best plane to use when playing with others...your tail gunner keeps shooting at them ( if you are in dogfight mode) so formation landing is out. BUT west of of the dock area is a light colored field. i landed from the sea inland. watch out there is gully there...but you will end up landing up hill. then turn around and cruise to the cliff. i ended up crashing just before i got to the edge. also i noticed there is road...might try landing on that next time then going overland. Stalingrad? going to have to try that...messed around in berlin a little....BIG city!

I have managed to land near the edge but can't get to the cliff edge to save my life. The kerbs on those roads are about 3 feet high and impassable. As you said earlier Bobby they are like dyke walls.

lol...yep. now last night in sicily...in a 153...i gunned then chopped the throttle and got up and over a road. but went too fast and ended up nose down, tail up on the other side...and still alive! couldnt figure how to right myself. dover is our favorite place for a "beach party" so we'll keep hacking away at it. would be a cool pick of the nose of the ac sticking out over the cliff....

dont have the b17 yet. we were wondering about that the other night...if you could cross the channel and actually fly over or land in normandy or other parts of france....or if you will just respawn at a certain point heading back to the isles. might have to try that tonight.

you could on the xbox version at least, you can't fly very far into france, there is almost about 1 square mile at best and a ltitle bit of beach, but if you get the right spot you can set anything down on it.
