The wheel brake issue was fixed by the patch, at least for Thrustmaster users.

cool. I'll have to see if I still have my old joystick AV8R of course now I'm on the PS3 which is far superior to the Xbox, I can pretty much use any joystick I like woohoo!

Must admit as disappointed as I was originally by the game, i still find myself wishing I could fly over dover, or take a B-17 against a load of fighters There really is no other game out there like it for consoles. And it seems like most issues have been patched over time.

are there many Squadrons besides the P-51 and FW-190 ones? e.g. Fighter / Bomber squads. If not, is anyone interested in starting a European FB Squadron?

theres a french squadron headed by cassecouboy; that use aircraft like il10s, theres most likely a Japanese squadron operating in the game using spits iXs, there is the sbs 101st which is a flexible wing not limited to one kind of aircraft as they have enough to field a few squadrons

Thats cool, thanks guys, to be honest the wheel break problem wasnt the biggest problem in the world, just would be nice to have it ironed out for capture the airfield But to be honest I think I'll stick to joypad for a while and save up for a decent joystick, as the AV8R wasn't brilliant on Xbox. Dunno if PS3 users had a different experience.

If you mean the PS3 Dualshock controller by joypad, then I'd strongly recommend you try to do a custom layout with it. It's just much more responsive that way, a lot of people are very happy with it. You can find info on how to on the P-51 thread.

And also if you use a custom layout you can not assign a button to zoom. The zoom will not work.

Yes, although the patch improved and fixed a few things it also brought in plenty of new bugs which is why i'm now quite happy the xbox never got the patch.

As of the sequel, could you inform us further ?
Apache Air Assualt is the sequel to BoP. Daijin might want to make another WWII game but I wouldn't expect it for at least a year after A.A.A. comes out.
