Honestly, this is exactly why I dislike Steam and Gamersgate. You may have to wait for Gamersgate to release their own patch.

my gamesgate version works perfect.

have you installed latest 1.17.5 (FULL) patch?

Perhaps it could be because of differant language versions?

Hi thanks for getting back to me. I did have mow installed before on this computer and it all worked fine but had to reinstall due to trying to load a mod, which resulted in the loss of single player missions...I downloaded it again from gamersgate and since reinstalling the icons are missing...

Contact support for 1C and Gamersgate. If they don't tell you much just uninstall, go through your files delete everything related to Men of War. Then install again.
