The thing about a tank sim in that a choice would have to be made. For a true sim, the tank would require at least two players in the tank as driver and gunner (even that's not enough for a true sim). Or, as would be my choice, you could do the tank sim with just one player per tank which would take more skill....driving and shooting at the same time is like patting your head and rubbing your tummy at the same time.

There are a couple games out: T-34 vs Tiger and Steel Fury: Kharkov 1942 by the same developers. Steel Fury has a demo and is entirely single player.
