I had to validate AP and Cross multiple times this afternoon to get the game to even play, I'd validate one and it would say ok, then validate the other and it would say ok, but go back to AP and now it would say more files failed, update them and then Cross would fail the validation again.
Finally got it working after a couple validations.

Yeah, I had to triple validate it too. And it was the same with the premature release. This isn't the smoothest of Steam releases.

Funny, I just restarted steam and now it's downloading 1GB of data again. Hmmm go figure.
I can only hope that maybe it's the missing editor texture files.
