just in case it helps diagnose I am running windows 7 64bit
on an intel core i5 2.4ghz
4 GB memory
nvidia 310m with 1GB video ram
I also have on onboard intel video card.. im going to try running with that but it is a lot less powerful. I am using an asus laptop with optimus tech
Driver version for the nvidia card is 189.64

I tried with my intel card as well and had the same issue.
So if its a driver issue it impacts both cards. I just updated the intel card to the latest driver yesterday too

I tried armored princess and the problem does NOT exist in that game. So what it is; it is specific to King's bounty the legend.

also here is a link to another forum where someone is complaining about something similar. Its an older post with an ATI card. Does not look like they found a solution.

Well my problem magically went away on its own. I didnt update windows or change drivers or anything. I just started it through steam to play with the settings a little more and it just started working for no apparent reason....
