I guess so... You could copy your save folder to your desktop, start the game, create a new profile, quit the game and then copy your save folder back into the new profile folder - it might work, however I don´t know for sure.
Do you start the game with the new 1.17.5 exe or not? Make sure that you arent starting the game wth the old 1.11.3 version. ~Zeke.
