It really is one he111 of a place!
We haven't even mentioned or shown the photos from the hangar exhibitions- British airspace: Concorde, Lancaster, mosquito, vulcan, victor, tsr2, harrier, tornado, jaguar, Shackleton, eurofighter.
American museum: B17, B29, B52, P51, P47, F15, F111, A10, U2, SR71.
Then there's the air/ sea museum, Battle of Britain museum, land battle museum (Inc montys staff car!), two conservation hangers (Inc Blenheim and beaufighter undergoing restoration)....
And I've missed shed loads out that I can't remember off the top of my head!!!!
I cannot tell you how good this place really is!

as part of mcq's pilgrimage,we visited raf museum, hendon
we have maxed out on vintage warbirds,over 100 planes with detailed history,we went inside a sunderland,goering's medals that he gave himself,and douglas bader's real ones
and a 15 min show on the b.o.b,where the spit,hurri,he 111,ju88,bf110 and e3 were lit by lights(the place goes dark when the shows on)
some pics -last remaining typhoon,rare centaurus engined tempest,the bloody 6 pound mollins from mkxviii mozzie! bf110 night fighter and 262,g10
