hey pcbun, great mod. Your mod was definitly the best for this game that has been made. I hope you make one for crossworlds. If you could, also try to add more damaging skills to the units. When i got the skills for the dragons that added extra damage, they really kicked ass. unfortuneatly, no extra damage for green dragons. Also, i think you should get rid of the knockback from the bonedragons. I was afraid to use thier poisen cloud skill since it would sometimes knock the enemies out of place so that the black and red dragons couldn't use thier skills to hit all the enemies that were originally in the right position. Awesome mod though

Yes, There is a planning on a better mod on Crossworld. I can promise it's a will have a great improve when compare with current version ^_<.

And also, if you are not satisfy with the current skill set, sample unzip the file and edit !!!setting.lua, edit it with ultra-edit with a tab size around 30, that you can change the skill set of every of the unit(I think it won't difficult to understand). In fact customize the ability is one of the staff I want the user to play, but dude to my poor language skill, there is just a chinese manual on how to customize it.

do I just need the .ui files or do i need the .lng and .lua files also? i would think the .lng too, because it has text. but dont know about the scripts. not sure if a script is needed to allow placing units in extra slots.

Just the .ui fle is the part that make reserve slot work.

Other lua file and lng file make the slot work more clearly as unit icon can't be showed, so I use text to show them out. If you dun use item pack, just use the whole mod and then disable the exp system. Then you will get the reserve slot only.
