Did Il2-T really exist?

Oh well I suppose this tid bit of info will "inform"

There was a old film made about a Small squadron of IL2 T pilots that were based near the edge of a huge lake/river/sea.

I cant remember the title but it was based around real IL2 T pilots and the hardship of the winter at their base.
