It was not. Most people said, that it's done when it's done and that there was no official announcement.
On the other hand, what got you almost banned was not the message that it will be delayed, but the fact that you and others insisted on estimates being a holy promise and took it as a personal insult that nobody would give a definite date and nobody excused himself personally for the delay. And let's not forget the hundreds of messages claiming that they could work this project out a LOT better than Oleg himself. So let's not compare apples and oranges (again). Yeah you got a good point there Feuerfalke, I guess we should have learnt many years ago that any release date Oleg mentions should bot be taken seriously. So which month in 2011 do we think? Im going for September.

I really dont think that most people here are as "hung up" on the "dead-line/promises" issue...as a few verbal posters seem to be. But we will see...
