Default Additional shot

First shot with ground - grass was switched off. I escpecially selected inclined surface that to show buildings - they are placed correct, not like many Il-2 buildings in the past "hanging in air" in the same situation.

Second and third shots - there are "wireless" pillars. Don't worry.. really they are with wires. Simply not everywhere yet.

And later will be more details on such real time rendering pictures... maybe even as graphics option. Because all these fences, bushes, etc, that making picture more real, eating too much in a fligth sim, when we are rendering a lot of them on the really great size surfaces and with much greater vsisble distances, comparing to other genres of the games.

Oleg- i'm stunned by the way your project is coming together. The first example of the second lot of screenshots is simply brilliant- the way the elements are coming together of buildings, terrain, vegetation, ground objects, lighting is looking VERY good. I cant wait to see an animation of that scene with the shadow of the spitfire passing over the buildings.
With more elements yet to be turned on in the render (such as the grass you mentioned) i can appreciate now that the comment you made some time ago that this engine will be capable of cinema-grade pictures and videos was no idle boast.
Your updates are increasing my hopes each week- keep up the good work!

Hi Oleg, Greetings from Finland.

Been waiting for this sim for years now. Just one question if you have the time, when will there be a BOB SoW internet pages for this game? For a sim about to be released in 2010 (hopefully) there's not much info about it. Surely if you think of the scale and potential of the SoW series you should already have a homepage worthy of the upcoming game?

Even SH5 had those even though the game was rubbish...

Otherwise great screens and models. Hopefully the game will be too

Oleg several of the guys on another website (all real life pilots) believe the spit will not recover and crashes shortly after this screenshot, to quote:

"I'd just like to state for the record that, full right aileron or not, the Spit in the second pic is f****d."

"Not necessarily - the stick is pushed forward (elevator position), giving some lift away from the ground - might be close though if the engine doesn't 'cough'."

"I agree. It actually puts me on edge looking at that shot.

I reckon you'd need some extra 300 roll-rate to get out of that one alive."

Your thoughts?
