You'll have to do without those units until later in the game, when the main castle is going to supply them in great quantities, after you finish some of the main quests.
I recommend getting some royal snakes, archmages and cannoneers if you can find them (IIRC I always found some on the Isles). Also inquisitors are great to help you resurrect and generate rage. Last edited by Metathron; 03-23-2010 at 05:46 PM.
