Ok we tried Stalingrad track in realistic. It was me (ta) subarugaz (spit vi) gilly (la7) and mcq (k4). First off the planes fly half speed in realistic as they do in arcade so it was a chore flying to mark the course. Once we had done that and managed to get lined up we started test lap.
Gaz took an early lead off the line so I shot him down before the turn onto the don. I managed to get a good turn out and started down the main straight in the lead until about half a click when mcq shot me down. I looped down into 4th place and gilly and mcq took off. For a time it was two seperate races, me vs gaz and gilly vs mcq. I managed to get in front of gaz but he must have got a lucky engine shot as I started to leak speed. Made it round half the course until my engine gave out and I hit the deck. Gilly won convincingly but the finish line turned into a wrecking zone and I think I managed third when gaz crashed on landing.
Major issue for me is respawning. When my engine died I was a good 10 clicks behind but I was spawned up in the mix. I think it defeats idea of deathrace if you retire when crash or shot so open to ideas on it. I looped down into last place when I was taken out but it can make it unfair if you prosper from engine failure
