Beautifull... but, ¿what if the plane is spining or in inverted flight?

Looks very nice so-far, but I agree it looks like someone climbing out of a cockpit to step onto the ground.

I'd think from footage I've seen the Pilot wouldn't have barely a second to stand on the wing before plummeting off. Early footage I know, but next it would be great to see some wind effects buffeting the pilot and the Parachute buffeted around too?

Lastly, if there is a chance, could we see the First Person POV next-time as it would be brilliant to see the pilot climb in First Person, from the cockpit and then tumble away from the aircraft.

Really looking good, cheers, MP.

+1. But it'd be comlicated. For one he'd have to be seen pulling out his wiring loom and oxygen tube plugs, or gust generally ditching his helmet all together. As I said before I have a load of info on the relevant kit and how it should look. Oleg has my e-mail

I think what is important about the brief vid is the quality. Certainly among the best animation that I have seen in a game. Remember that its WIP, and I believe anything is possible in the finished product.

it's a ghost pilot so in first person view you wouldn't see the pilot doing anything

also I'm not sure if why people are suggesting this isn't emergency bailout, it clearly says "arrrrggghhhh!"

Is it an emergency bailout? Don't know. Don't care particulatly either. This is work in progress. It shows what SoW:BoB will be capable of. That is good enough for me.

Dear Oleg

Great work, I´m realy looking forward to BOB

My Question:

Is the possibility of a german trainer aircraft dead now? Like a Bücker Jungmeister, or a Fw44 Stieglitz.
The reason why i ask this: I like aerobatics, and in my eyes an fully aerobatic biplane is the only thing missing in the whole Il2 series.

I know there will be a Tiger Moth and a Suchoi in the game, but again, there will be no biplane with inverted flight capability. That makes me sad

Or is there any hope for me?

Best regards

Loop

A couple of obvious questions:

1. This is a 3rd person view, but what will a human pilot flying close behind this plane see?

2. While this pilot is outside of the cockpit, say standing on the wing, is he able to be shot by enemy gunfire...or even injured by a nearby flak explosion?

IIRC, the IL2 pilot figure is vulnerable in this way as soon as he leaves the cockpit, certainly in 3rd person view anyway. Presumably this simple programming will be present for SoW as well.
