Default Joy To Key

I use the sofware "Joy to Key" to emulate mouse movements with my POV-hat.

Version 3.7.9
http://www.oneswitch.org.uk/2/I/JoyToKey/JoyToKey.htm

After installation, create a profile named IL2 or whatever you like, and go into the "others"-tab and check the "Use POV switches" option. Then you can assign mouse movements to your POV-hat. You will also need to remove any bindings in IL2's control sections to the POV-hat, to avoid conflicts. This software can also emulate other mouse or keyboard functions in case a game you're playing cannot identify joystick buttons. IL2 however, does that, so I'm only using the mouse emulation.

The "FreeTrack" solution mentioned above appears to be a way of emulating Track-IR / 6DoF by use of a webcamera, so if you have a webcam you could also try that. Try both solutions and se wich one suits you best.

I use JoyToKey as well. I usually have it set to a mouse speed of 80 in each direction.
