Was hard, but i remember alot of news and info of the falklands war. The super etantard was our biggest threat because it carried the anti ship missiles.

Well its a Lavochkin right? And its not a 5,7,9 or 11. I really don't know. It looks very small, like a La(I-16) lol

Looks just like an LA-5... very much like an LA-5 but that would be to obvious surely? and soviet does like to make things tricky

Is lavochkin on the right lines though?

Its got to be an La, the wings and fin are for sure. I'm pretty sure its not an la-5 though. The engine looks much larger with bigger intake and the rear fusalage a lot shorter (maybe just the angle?) the rear of the cockpit also angles up more. Ive never seen that fairing on the fusealage just above the wings before either.

This is a good one Ace

Hmmm, hey soviet i do believe that right there is the Polikarpov I-185 M-71.

I can see why people would mistake it for something in the La series

To be perfectly honest if i had never played 1946 before i would never have guessed it

He's right you know. I'd never have got that I hadn't even heard of it before. I guess I was close though saying an La(I-16)
