Yes, I did that... that's why I asked the question --- I wanted clarification on the omission of the jet fighters.

By 'tactical Kamikaze,' I'm assuming you're saying that the team who is flying the jet fighters would have some sort of overwhelming advantage over bombers... I'm not sure if that's your meaning, or if that would even be the case. Jet fighters certainly have speed, but bomber escorts could certainly develop tactics to combat them I would think... plus, if the jet fighters do have an advantage, this only offsets the advantage that the B-17 brings to the table... although I guess this may be moot if both sides can use the B-17 equally from the start of the game.

I do hope you come up with a way to include the jet fighters in your campaign; with all the T&B, dogfighting in BOP is soooo one-dimensional, and IMHO the option to include more B&Z plane choices is a sorely needed aspect to this simulator, which accurately reflect the real-life awareness and adjustment to the tactics of energy fighting & situational awareness (something somehwhat missing in the endless descending spiral dogfights that dominate BOP).
