That'll no doubt improve as you get used to it. You've spent who knows how long getting used to a controller on various games, and just 6 hours odd with this. Give it more time and it will undoubtably become more natural

I remember the first time I tried to play an FPS on a PS2 controller having come from FPSs on PC mouse and keyboard. I spent the majority of my time in a corner looking at the floor and spinning in circles lol.
