You were right the first time

it is a phantom in the background. If you look at the pic again theirs actually 3 planes in the pic. The fuselage you can see is not the phantoms, but the plane infront of it. So all you can actually see of the phantom is indeed the tail fin

the main plane in the pic is.... i've no idea! foriegn. The plane behind it..again i've no idea. But the plane furthest back is indeed a phantom and not folded wings


it belongs to the luftwaffe also (the phantom).

The one in the middle's a Lockheed Starfighter.. Tail's a dead giveaway.
