Yeah, but there is a difference between mandatory patches and optional DLC. Patches are limited in size, I think the limit is 64mb on the 360 and probably something similar on the PS3, and the cockpit files will be bigger than that.

I don't see why we would have to pay for the cockpits. The devs have already built them, so it doesn't cost them anything to include these cockpits along with another piece of DLC.

About the A6M2 Zero I mentioned, see 0:12sec into this Wings of Prey trailer
Looks good, doesn't it? I haven't seen any other new planes, but if the Zero is in then there will have to be some American Pacific theatre planes for it to fight.
