the ones that matter are the basic 6:

altitude
rate of climb/descent
relative airspeed
turn/slip indicator (the miniature tilting plane)
compass/heading
pitch indicator (artificial horizon)

and of course, fuel.

the pitch indicator and turn/slip may be combined into one instrument.
