Unlocked pilot immortality

While playing online I unlocked something called Pilot Immortality...now what does it do ???

It inflates your ego, a little bit. It's a trophy/acheivement. What do any of them do?

I'm guessing you mean the Immortal Pilot Achievement/Trophy (Xbox/PS3)

. It just means you got a 5-kill streak without dying. You can view the achievements here.
