Problem is that it's too easy to lose someone in the clouds. This kind of rules out the need for skill to lose someone. You just dive for the clouds and you're off.
Yeah, but considering everyone goes on about realism, how often does England have blue sky? Not very often. Unless the UK was a tropical paradise in the 1940s I'm sure they flew in clouds all the time.
