i believe that the issue is the isp and peer to peer limiting or gamespy and detecting peer-peer connection, so if some one on your network is using say a torrent which is peer-peer heavy it say this problem even tho it should not make a diffrence to the chat/authersation gamespy server
however this would not be an issue if you continued to play in the game your playing rather than boot you half way through like only men of war dose.
