Since I need the .vfs files from the original game, then I can't download the mod. (only have MOT)

The main idea of the mod is adaptation of DtS missions to MoT engine.
If you don't have DtS and don't want to find it - there are no sense to install mod for you (only if you want to see MoT missions without posteffects and cinematics).

The game seems to crash when you try to check in at the Hotel.

EDIT: I think I know what the problem is - AHO's tinkering with the RegistrateAnchor.lua.
