Ive landed on the roads in Sicily, and Ive landed on the outskirts of Stalingrad, Tried Berlin main city but the streets were overhung by buidings jutting out making it impossible to land. Dover, I landed on the beachfront under the cliffs, the harbour walls, but not tried in the town yet.

I did that road through the park leading up to the Brandenburg gate too - didn't realise it was like a causeway until I was down and (even though it's a game) held my breath until I got to a stop!! More luck than judgement!

from over just head over the sea (towards france), as you get closer the map opens up and france becomes visible.

Though hard to land on as you dont have any shadows in france for some reason so its hard to judge how low you are when landing.

Bottom right of map, really short landing area cause it forces you to turn around.

In regards to updates/sequals/dlcs will there be an increase in playable areas? Also, does the existing DLC add a new area?

existing DLC offers no new multiplayer areas, just 2 new planes and a few single player missions

I landed yesterday my A20-G Havok a bit too hard on a road in Dorset. I broke off the 2 rear landing wheels but my nose wheel was still on. Full throtle for another attemps and i actuall menged to A** land that bomber. i draged it across the ground and i diden't blew up. I stoped, looked for any damage and used all my WEP to get in tha air! I took off with only a 124MPH! that's the best i did so far. I also manged to land down a shot up ME who's engine stopped working and glided it down to earth.

So yeah, after 35 crashes or more, i finnaly can say that i'm an expert on Crash landings! LOL

I've landed all over the place on maps, watched the tanks fire, taxied round army camps admiring the detail of the vehicles and equipment.... even down to an authentic Whermacht tank engine hoist.

I find landing far easier from the cockpit view for some reason. Perhaps 3rd person make me over compensate when I don't need to.

The easiest plane to land is the PO-2 "Sewing Machiine" with the I-153 and I-16 due to size.

The amount of unneccessary detail, just their for the hell of it, is amazing..... even the trees sway in the breeze.
